Special Rights / Ketuanan Melayu

For those who live in M'sia, I don't think anyone would not know about this. This issue have been brought up by tons of peoples. Politicians, laymens, newly established groups, etc.
However, why do I bring this issue to my own blog?

For me, if the Malay society want to have this "Special Rights" or their Ketuanan Melayu, its fine with me. But then, highlight out what does they mean by "Special Rights", point out concretely what are the "Special Rights".

Does "Special Rights" means they will get 5% discount on buying their houses? Or allocate 30% of the company resources for them? Or having the quota system for the University intake. Or, what is it? Does it mean, they can kill people of other races and get away with it? I believe not.

I believe everyone would be able to digest all this if they are all highlighted properly. If all these are highlighted properly, I believe it is easier to debate about it and also come to a compromise. Towards the end or from the situation which I am see-ing now, it is a fight for the "survival" of the word "Special Rights of the Malays". But no one seems to know what are the definition of these Special Rights anymore.

Ketuanan Melayu, what does it mean? There is Yang Di-Pertuan Agong in Malaysia which is from the Sultans in the states. Aren't this Ketuanan Melayu? Aren't Yang Di-Pertuan Agong the head of the whole Malaysia? Or was there any other agenda behind the Ketuanan Melayu thing? Does it mean all "Melayu" are the lords in Malaysia? So, should the other races bow down to them for every single thing? For me to intepret, the Ketuanan Melayu is suppose to mean that the head of Malaysia are from bangsa Melayu. Which is the CURRENT situation.

Weird Dream

I had a pretty weird dream last nite. Can still remember the weird part quite well.
It started off with dreaming of having a sort of camp at nite and we were playing some games.
Beside the playing field, there was an orchard of coconut trees. There were quite high fence, the sort which the wires sort of form "diamond" shapes.
I forgot which game we started to play but eventually, we switch to playing captain balls.
As we play along, someone threw the ball over the fence and we would need to go over it and retrieve the ball. He found a hole at the fence hidden by a bunch of banana trees. As he move over, I noticed that one of the "heart" of the banana tree seems to be beating. Seems very weird but I brush it off as some small animals moving it.
So, we continue playing the game. But to my horror, I saw a girl emerging from the "heart". Slowly moving out. Looks like a butterfly trying to pry out of its cocoon. The whole camp people does not seem to notice her. She just seems to blend in with the other camp mates.
Thus, I calmly try to walk to a table where I put my amulet. To my horror, she seems to notice what I'm doing and chase after me. Luckily I outran her to the amulet. Then.......
I woke up. :D

Hiring Female and Male Positions

This is great. By just being a "Lelaki" or "Perempuan", we will get paid. Not sure if ladies are welcomed to apply for the "Lelaki" position or not. Or maybe they have too much 3rd gender applications already. :)
