Special Rights / Ketuanan Melayu

For those who live in M'sia, I don't think anyone would not know about this. This issue have been brought up by tons of peoples. Politicians, laymens, newly established groups, etc.
However, why do I bring this issue to my own blog?

For me, if the Malay society want to have this "Special Rights" or their Ketuanan Melayu, its fine with me. But then, highlight out what does they mean by "Special Rights", point out concretely what are the "Special Rights".

Does "Special Rights" means they will get 5% discount on buying their houses? Or allocate 30% of the company resources for them? Or having the quota system for the University intake. Or, what is it? Does it mean, they can kill people of other races and get away with it? I believe not.

I believe everyone would be able to digest all this if they are all highlighted properly. If all these are highlighted properly, I believe it is easier to debate about it and also come to a compromise. Towards the end or from the situation which I am see-ing now, it is a fight for the "survival" of the word "Special Rights of the Malays". But no one seems to know what are the definition of these Special Rights anymore.

Ketuanan Melayu, what does it mean? There is Yang Di-Pertuan Agong in Malaysia which is from the Sultans in the states. Aren't this Ketuanan Melayu? Aren't Yang Di-Pertuan Agong the head of the whole Malaysia? Or was there any other agenda behind the Ketuanan Melayu thing? Does it mean all "Melayu" are the lords in Malaysia? So, should the other races bow down to them for every single thing? For me to intepret, the Ketuanan Melayu is suppose to mean that the head of Malaysia are from bangsa Melayu. Which is the CURRENT situation.
